Although the Athletics took the first two games of this series, Chicago is still the home favorite here with Shota Imanaga who is 4-6 with a 4.37 ERA. The LH has struggled over his last three outings, going 0-3 with a whopping 11.49 ERA. The team has also lost his last four starts and six of his 10 thus far. The Athletics will counter with J.T. Ginn who is 3-3 with a 2.87 ERA. He has also struggled over his last three starts, going 1-2, but sports a better ERA of 2.20. And when the RH is on the hill, the team has won seven of his 10 starts this season. I know it’s a strong task to take three in a row at Wrigley Field, but that could change today with Ginn on the mound. Play the Athletics.

For my best free pick on the board here for Thursday in WNBA basketball, I am looking at the Golden State Valkyries at the Minnesota Lynx. Minnesota has performed well above expectations, and I expect a regression coming soon. Minnesota is 8-1 ATS, and they have covered around 5 straight games, so you know the bandwagon guys will be out in full force for this one. Golden State, even away from home, is the better team here, and I love getting points from them here. Minnesota has beaten this team all 6 times they have faced off here; comes the first win, but a definite cover.
