This is a play on the COLORADO ROCKIES for our Friday Free Play. Colorado is coming off a tough loss on Thursday against Arizona as it had a 4-2 lead in the seventh inning and eventually lost in the ninth inning. The Rockies have dropped four straight games and have a favorable matchup tonight. Kansas City was off Wednesday and Thursday following a two-game split with St. Louis to open the week and it has been a rough go for the Royals which are just 5-12 over their last 17 games and sit 22 games under .500 for the season. Chase Anderson goes for Colorado after getting bumped last night and he has regained some of early career magic from his days in Milwaukee. He has a 1.72 ERA and 1.09 WHIP in three outings and most impressive is that all three were at Coors Field. Jordan Lyles counters for Kansas City and you could not ask for a worst start to a season. Not only does he have a 7.01 ERA and 1.36 WHIP in 11 starts, the Royals have gone 0-11 in those games with Lyles possessing a 0-9 record as he has allowed four runs or more in seven straight outings.
