| San Francisco Giants vs. Texas Rangers (MLB) - Aug 4, 2026 8:05 PM EDT |
|
| Play: Money Line: -197 Texas Rangers |

Texas has dropped six straight and hasn't led a game in 40 innings, including last night's 5-1 loss to this same San Francisco club, so the losing streak is the obvious argument against backing the Rangers again. But look at who did the damage: Logan Webb, a proven arm working on a career mark near 1.44 against Texas. Tonight the Giants hand the ball to Blade Tidwell, making his first big-league start of the season after San Francisco's trade-deadline teardown pushed him up from Triple-A along with three other fresh arms. MacKenzie Gore takes the mound for Texas instead, an established strikeout starter with real swing-and-miss stuff even with a 4.77 ERA this season. Ezequiel Duran already showed signs of the Texas offense waking up with four hits last night, and this is a far softer look on the mound than the one that just shut the Rangers down. Texas is the right side tonight.

| Pittsburgh Pirates vs. Milwaukee Brewers (MLB) - Aug 4, 2026 7:40 PM EDT |

THIS WEEK WE GET PAID! Today I have a very solid MLB release in my (4-1 L5) HOME RUN PLAY, along with my HUGE NFL HALL OF FAME GAME WINNER for tomorrow. As you know, over the years, I have had a TON of TOP NFLX FINISHES.
Tuesday’s free winner: Milwaukee Brewers.
Game 956.
4:40 PM PST/7:40 PM EST.
The Milwaukee Brewers have been just about the most consistent team in all of the Majors thus far this season. However, Superman has kryptonite, and Milwaukee has Pittsburgh. While the Pirates have now climbed to playing .500 baseball at 57-57, they have certainly dominated today’s opponent. Pittsburgh has taken six of seven meetings against Milwaukee in 2026. They enter today’s matchup struggling a bit, dropping five of their last seven overall outings, which does include three of the last five games played as a visitor. That is significant because the Brewers happen to be one of the best home teams in baseball, sporting a 36-21 record at American Family Field this season, en route to an overall record of 69-43. The pitching matchup here certainly makes me raise an eyebrow as Jones and Henderson are scheduled. The Pirates right-hander is 2-2 with the respectable ERA of 3.81 this season. He has pitched well recently, and is pretty good on the road, to boot. He has had only one career start against the Brewers, and that was two seasons ago. The Milwaukee right-hander owns a very solid mark of 5-1 with an even more impressive ERA of 2.66. He is 5-0 over his last six outings, as the team has won seven consecutive turns made by the hurler. We are not coming around the homestretch of the regular season just yet. However, I really feel the Brewers are going to need to make a statement against a division opponent who has certainly starting to stride, and has had success against them. Take Milwaukee. Thank you.

Take the DBacks
Rotation #960
Arizona has the cleaner, more reliable path today because Eduardo Rodriguez has been one of the most dominant pitchers in baseball this season, and the Diamondbacks have been nearly automatic behind him. Arizona is 17–3 in his last 20 starts, and he enters tonight with a 2.48 ERA, seven quality starts in his last eight outings, and coming off eight scoreless innings in Pittsburgh. That level of stability is exactly what you want when backing a side. Meanwhile, San Diego turns to Randy Vásquez, who owns a 4.45 ERA and is part of a patchwork rotation the Padres are still trying to manage until their new acquisitions arrive. Arizona already handled the Padres 5–1 on Monday, and with the offense energized by deadline additions and “vibes good” in the clubhouse, they’re catching San Diego at a vulnerable moment. With the hotter team, the far stronger starter, and a matchup that leans heavily toward run prevention on the Arizona side, the Diamondbacks have the edge to beat the Padres again today.
