We get Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals here, and MSG should be rocking. New York took the first two head-to-head contests in late 2025, and Cleveland won 109-94 back in February. Remember, the Knicks have had some time off after disposing of the Sixers in a 4-game sweep, so they have had some time off to prepare. The Knicks' average scoring margin over opponents in the first two rounds is 19.4 points, the highest through two rounds since 1984. We like the under here, however. We think defensive intensity will be paramount here in Game 1, with both teams trying to feel each other out, and the last 10 head-to-heads between these two teams have resulted in unders, and we think this game falls short of the total.

Feels like forever since Colorado has played, and that's because it was May 13th the last time they hit the ice. The Avs took the first two head-to-head contests in late 2025, and the Golden Knights won 3-2 in OT on April 11th. Vegas took care of Anaheim in six games, and they head to the elevation of Colorado now. We like the under here tonight, as Vegas likes to play at a slower, more methodical pace. Remember, the Avs can play any pace their competition wants to play, but getting into a shootout with Colorado is much different than a shootout with Anaheim, as the Avs can beat you with all four lines, and the Golden Knights really need to play their game, keep Colorado out of the net, and pick and choose their chances offensively. For my best free pick on the board here for Monday I am looking at the Cleveland Cavaliers at the New York Knicks. Cavs did great got past the Detroit Pistons in a hard fought 7 game war and I think that series has a big effect here on game 1 as the Knicks have been resting after and easy series beating the Sixers. Knicks one of the best home cover teams this season at 30-15 ATS while the Cavs are one of the worst cover teams in the NBA this season at 33-48. Look for Cavs to hang early and lose their steam early 4th quarter.

The Tampa Bay Rays enter tonight's contest as the hottest team in the American League, sitting at 31-15 and owning the best record in the AL. They have been dominant at Tropicana Field this season, going 14-4 at home, and the Orioles are walking into a tough environment. Baltimore, by contrast, has been a disappointment on the road, posting a dismal 9-14 record away from Camden Yards.
The Rays will send out Griffin Jax, who carries a 3.91 ERA and 1.48 WHIP in his role as a starter this season.
Kyle Bradish has been one of the more disappointing arms in the AL in 2026, posting a 2-5 record with a 4.21 ERA and a troubling 1.53 WHIP. Bradish has been hit hard this season, and the Rays' lineup, which ranks among the most productive offenses in the American League, should be able to hurt him.
The Rays are averaging 5.2 runs per game against right handed pitching this season. Baltimore is averaging just 3.6 runs on the road against right handed pitching.
